Disney On Ice: Magic of Family North Charleston Coliseum Theatre reviews
Christmas made beautiful!!
This year we took our 6 year old niece out and she loved it! I had taken my daughter to see it a few years ago, as a child and had been to the show a few times. Makes you believe in the wonders of Christmas again and reminisce your childhood joy. It is the reminder of what makes the holidays, particularly Christmas so magical and beautiful!
I would only wish that the intermission were still part of the show. Especially for a younger audience. Keeping the children still for a total of an hour and a half is a challenge and giving the time to stretch gives them that time to get their "wiggles" out and not miss a part of the show. Otherwise, the show itself is beautiful!
UFC Delivers
Disney On Ice came to Indianapolis prepared to put on a good show, as expected. A terrific DJ kept people entertained in between fights and the light show was awesome. The event was a resounding success; the fighters showed up, Indy MMA fans showed up, and Canseco Fieldhouse delivered. Dana White and Zuffa Productions threw a great party that was well received by Indy fight fans. My only complaint was with our hometown crowd; don't be like other special event goers who don't know when to boo. MMA is more complicated than just rushing out and swinging wildly. That's part of what makes the Disney On Ice so much fun to watch. Using your head and timing your attacks to give yourself as much advantage as possible isn't boring; it's smart. Fighters in the Disney On Ice are smart; they aren't just brawlers. Our Indy Disney On Ice fans didn't do anything to encourage the positive side of the debate as to the quality of MMA stadium-goers. After you drink some beer, even a lot of beer, get it in the toilet. The heavy drinkers at Saturday's fight needed a pee trough. I had a couple three beers myself but wasn't so tilted that I couldn't hit the water. This had to have been a successful venture for the Disney On Ice, Canseco Fieldhouse, the city of Indianapolis, and certainly for midwestern Disney On Ice fans. We finally got what we were waiting for; a chance to see the best fighters from the best league in the comfort of our capitol city.
AMAZING NIGHT OF FIGHTS!!!!
"Disney On Ice fight night 70 was an amazing surprise!!! It looked like it could be doomed after some fights were pulled just a few weeks before the event!! But that couldn't have been further from the truth!! With only 9 fights on the card, all of them delivered!!! Many finishes, from one of the best KO's of the year to back and forth battles, this event surpassed anyone's expectation!!! The venue at the Hard Rock Casino Hollywood FL was awesome too!!! Sold out crowd with a great party atmosphere throughout the entire night. Easily the best event I've been to, including PPV title fights, having been to multiple Disney On Ice fights!!"
Great Concert Except for the Crowd
Seeing Disney On Ice was an amazing experience, but unfortunately, the crowd overshadowed his talents. They kept interrupting him while talking, and one person had to be escorted out by the police. As the night went on, it seemed like he started getting frustrated and stopped telling stories. I know he does not always do encores, usually just plays until he is done, but it was unfortunate he did not return for an encore or was given the opportunity to finish his story.
I highly recommend seeing him live as it is a great experience. If you are in the crowd, please show the man some respect and let him talk! I really don't care if you love him or not; I want to hear what he has to say as there are not many blues legends around anymore to tell these stories.
